About the company
SIF Moldova SA is an entirely
private and self-managed closed-end fund. Successor of the Private Ownership
Fund II Moldova, the Fund manages its own portfolio, which is made up of stocks
in approximately 351 Romanian companies. These companies are active in such
industries as chemicals, finance and banking, machine building, agribusiness,
textiles, metallurgy and others. SIF Moldova has 10 branches.
The
holding limit for an individual investor or a group is 1% of outstanding shares.
History
1996 - SIF Moldova was established as a
joint stock company in accordance with Law no.133/1996 regarding the turn of
Private Ownership Funds into investment companies, being the successor of Private
Ownership Fund II.
