About the company
SIF
Oltenia SA is an entirely private and self-managed closed-end fund. Successor
of the Private Ownership Fund V Oltenia, the Fund manages its own portfolio,
which is made up of stocks in approximately 251 Romanian companies.
These companies are active in such industries as machine building, electronics
and electrotechnical industry, commerce, food, construction, tourism, public
services and others. SIF Oltenia has 9 branches. The shareholders' book is kept
by REGISCO Bucharest, ING Bank NV Amsterdam provides asset management services.
The holding limit for an individual investor or a group is 1% of
outstanding shares.
History
SIF Oltenia was established as a joint stock company in
accordance with Law no.133/1996 regarding the turn of Private Ownership Funds
into investment companies, being the successor of Private Ownership Fund V.
