About the company
Vrancart S.A. is a Romanian
manufacturer of toilet paper, corrugated board and fluting paper. The Company's
main products are corrugated board boxes and cartons for industries such as
food, footwear and domestic appliances; one-ply toilet paper, multi colored
double-ply toilet rolls and paper towels. With a market share by 35%,

History
The Company was founded in 1977 under the name of
Factory for Cellulose and Paper. In very beginning the
list of products were: cellulose, toilet paper, paper kraft, undulate
cardboard.
1983 - installation for producing kraftliner paper, ARTEMA URSS.
1984 – installation
for producing undulate cardboard which was modernized in 1998 by Agnia Italy and
the capacity grew to 82 mil. square meter per year.
1986 – installation
for producing toilet paper, made by Fampa Poland, with a capacity of 15 000 tones per year.
1992
the company was renamed Vrancart SA.
1996 – was
implemented automated installation for brushup toilet paper, from Italconverting Italy.
2000 – was
implemented automated line for emboss and imprint boxes, made by Bobst Switzerland.
2001 – was
implemented installation for blade undulate cardboard.
2002 – Modernization
of sector for producing paper paste for fluting paper and toilet paper
machines.
The
company was listed at Bucharest Stock Exchange in 15.07.2005 by IPO.
